Andrew turned 31 last week. Happy Birthday! We went to Joe's farm Grill for lunch with the boys. It's this awesome restaurant here in Gilbert. One of our favorites. Not only is the food delicious, but the kids can run around and play. We sat at a picnic table under the lemon trees and Eric and Ethan tossed them around like baseballs. Oh did I mention you eat free on your birthday? Love it!

Sugar cookies anyone? We made some yummy cookies the other day, and after dinner I let the kids go to town on them . Of course daddy had to decorate a few for himself too. I have to say I have always loved the holidays, but they are far for more fun with kids for sure!

So anyone who knows my family, knows we are firm believers in Halloween decorations. It was always so much fun as kids. Our yard was definately one to come and see. We had ghosts hangin in the trees, a cemetery in the yard, Huge webs and spiders. We made everything, painted tombstones, and and coffins, blacked out the whole porc. Man I wsih I had a picture. so naturally we are passing the drive on to our children. Given their young ages we keep everything as 'fun' and 'cute' hallowen as possible. Elizabeth loves hanging the little plastic ghosts in the trees, and rearranges her little spiders in the webs every other day. Ethan is pretty excited too, he thinks all the bats are butterflies and loves all the "bones", aka skeletons.
