Saturday morning we got up and headed out to ride the quads. I think this was andrew's favorite part of the weekend. There were pretty high winds so Julie Meghan and Dad stayed home with the babies. The rest of us headed out. For most of us it was our first time. As you saw Jenna and JoAnna chose to warm up on Elizabeths small quad. But they did get on and ride the big one's as well. Sierra loved it, I think Terry could have ridden forever, Jake had fun, Jess is hooked, Ethan was terrified, and Brandon, well I think he had fun until he rolled with th quad. Luckily he wasn't hurt, just cut. We might let him on again! Hee Hee

Had so much fun at Thanksgiving dinner. Most of Jess' family and all the Johnson's were at our house for dinner. Everyone helped contribute to the menu. We had a tonof food, danced, ate , ate some more, and just hunf out. We switched furniture from room to room downstairs to allow room for us all to sit and eat together. It was funny to see us try to sit and eat, and struggle with all the kids at the same time. Hopefully by next year they'll all be out of highchairs and booster seats, and onto an official kiddy table. Wow when did I get old enough to have one of those in our house!

Aunty Meghan was all over the crafts for the weekend.She helped the girls make all the name place cards for thanksgiving as well. So cute.

Black Friday 2007

Okay so for those of you who don't know already, my family is filled with Black Friday addicts. We are of the crazy masses who sleep at the storefronts to get a good deal.This year we actually declared Thanksgiving to move from Thursday to Friday.We owe the majority of this years preparatory research to Jake. Hate to say it but we do. We landed first position in line at Best Buy when Jake got there @9:30 pm Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Eric and I joined him early the next day. Everyone joined soon after. It was fun we had it all set up chairs ,table, air mattresses and all. We all had lunch there, and a great spaghetti dinner as well.The kids ran around and played and after hot chocolate they all went home to bed.Jake,Terry (this was his first time!) Andrew and I stayed the night. The line wrapped around the entire shopping center, and our position was envied as the night grew on and peoplegot anxious. At 5am they opened the doors,we rushed in cheering and scored our new laptops, computers,cameras,gps systems,and special orders from santa.It was another successful year.

We kicked off Thanksgiving week with the chance to celebrate all the Johnson cousins' birthdays.Alice threw a fun party at her inlaws the Lynch's in Queen Creek. The kids played in the beachfronet to the lake, while Stephen Danny and Andrew got their first taste of wakeboardng. Andrew got up pretty quick, and I am sure will be out to do it again as soon as the weather warms up. It was so fun to have all the kids together for the first time. Hope it's not too long until we can do it again.
